There's No Place Like Home
I have been 'curating' treasuries on Etsy.com, here's one that I really think came out great. I always loved the Wizard of Oz as a kid, and read the book within the last year. I think the book was amazing. I tried to incorporate elements from both, including the emerald shaded glasses that the gang had to wear in order to enter the city!
Speaking of Etsy, I signed up as a seller a while ago, but have yet to post anything for sale. I'm between this space of really wanting to create something to sell, and the fear that if I do post something, it won't sell. The fear of failure I guess. Wow, I need to get over myself.

Well well well. It's been nearly a year since I've posted and perhaps the first time I've posted something other than pictures. With that in mind, allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Melissa, I'm a 30-something woman living in the shadow of New York City. That is to say, the suffocating suburbs of Long Island. I suppose anything else will have to be picked up in the course of reading my blog. If I ever write anything else. If you ever read further than this. If anyone ever reads this.
Let's be honest, the interwebs doesn't need another self-indulgent blogger. Too bad though, because I am just that.
